Colliding Dreams
We live at a moment in time when the Israeli-Palestinian battle has been of overwhelming international governmental and societal importance. From its beginning, this battle has had deep and powerful troubling consequences for Palestinians and Israelis . The narrative during its most basic level is the one which involves two individuals struggling for saying and federal recognition within a small but richly slice of property. The tragedy of this history, since both the Israeli novelist, Amos Oz, and the Palestinian scholar, Sari Nusseibeh, have each pointed out, stems from a battle between the rights of 2 individuals together with equal and legitimate aspirations to nationhood and self-expression in just one small territory where they could both put claim.
