When Kenny Scharf showed up in NYC in the early 1980's, he promptly fulfilled and befriended Keith Haring and Jean Michel Basquiat; There, amongst the impassioned creative bustle of a depressed midtown scene the trio would certainly quickly change the means we consider art, the world, and ourselves. But unlike Haring as well as Basquiat, that both died tragically young, Kenny endured disastrous shifts in the East Town along with the devastations of AIDS as well as financial depression.
