Jacek loves his / her dog and heavy metal and rock. He bombs them down into his car and transforms the nation lanes out his doorway to some racing track. After he and his girl friend Dagmara take to the dance floor, everyone else runs for cover. He keeps his muscles toned taking care of a construction site near the border where the planet's biggest statue of Jesus will be constructed, and enjoys his existence as a trendy misfit in an otherwise relaxing environment. But his life is thrown off course by a terrible accident at work that disfigures him. Eagerly followed by the media, Jacek becomes the first person in the united states to be given a facial transplant. He may be celebrated as a national hero and martyr, however he no longer recognises himself in the mirror. Meanwhile, the statue of Jesus grows taller and taller. Events around Jacek come fast and thick, the film never loses sight of this picture and instead brings things more into attention.
