The Big Heat
Dave Bannion is a cop on the trail of a vicious gang he suspects holds authority over the police force. Bannion is tipped off following a priest's suicide and his officers' silence lead him to believe they truly have been on the gangsters' payroll. Bannion becomes a force of justice and vengeance, helped along the way by the gangster's spurned girlfriend Debbie After a bomb meant for him kills his spouse instead. Since Bannion and Debbie collapse further and farther to the gang-land's insidious and brutal trap, they must use any means necessary (including murder) to get to the facts.
