The Black Phone
A psychopathic murderer kidnaps Finney Shaw, a timid but bright 13-year-old boy, and holds him captive in a soundproof basement where he is unable to be heard crying for help. Finney finds out that he is able to hear the voices of the killer's prior victims when a phone that was previously disconnected and mounted on the wall begins to ring. They are adamant about protecting Finney from the same fate that befell them and do everything in their power to achieve this goal.
