The Child of Another
Ngando and Ndomé's relationship is picture-perfect. Ngando, an orphan, is unable to pay the traditional dowry for Ndomé's hand in marriage because of his family's financial situation. When Ngando is forced to seek help from his uncle, he is left at the mercy of his uncle's avarice. Ndomé and Ngando must find a way to live in harmony. On this difficult voyage, they will discover that not everything of value can be salvaged.
