A Woman Called Moses
A Woman Called Moses is a television miniseries about Harriet Tubman, an escaped African American slave who helped to organize the Underground Railroad and took scores of African Americans from slavery in the South to freedom in the North and Canada. On December 11 and12,1978, Orson Welles narrated the production, which was shown on the NBC television network. Cicely Tyson, an Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominee, portrayed Tubman.
