Men in Trees
Men in Trees is an romantic television comedy-drama series that premiered on ABC on September 12, 2006 and starred. The show concerned the misadventures of Marin Frist in connections and had been set in the fictional town of Elmo, Alaska. The assumption revealed superficial similarities to the HBO television show Sex and the City, which featured a romantically-oriented, female writer. The protagonist's apparent"fish-out-of-water" feeling in a remote, small, darkened city could be likened to CBS's Northern degradation. The protagonists in the show were New Yorkers thrust in to town Alaska societies. Filming for the show had been established in Squamish, British Columbia.
Five episodes of this first generation season, that were not shown on ABC, debuted in New Zealand around the TV2 system in June 2007 and July 2007. The five carryover episodes aired after the first installment of this manufacturing season on ABC, beginning October 19. Men In Trees was cancelled on May 4, 2008. Its episodes aired in the summer of 2008 because of burnoff.
