Farewell, My Lovely

LA private eye Philip Marlowe (Robert Mitchum) is hired by ex con Moose Malloy to discover his girlfriend. While additionally investigating the murder of a customer and the convicted of a jade necklace, the Marlowe becomes entangled with all seductress Helen Grayle (Charlotte Rampling) and discovers a web of dark secrets which are better left hidden. My Lovely is really a neo-noir picture of the 1944 film but it follows the Raymond Chandler's book more closely.
