Odette
Odette Sansom, a Special Operations Executive spy from France, was kidnapped by the Germans in1943, sentenced to death and executed at the Ravensbrück prison camp. Despite this, she survived the war and testified against the jail guards at the Ravensbrück Trials. As the first woman to receive the George Cross, she is also the only recipient still living.
