Gargoyles
The animated television series Gargoyles was created by Disney Television Animation and Buena Vista Television in the United States. It debuted on the air on October24,1994, and ran until February15, 1997. Character arcs were widely utilized throughout the series, as were themes from Shakespeare's works. The series is known for its rather somber tone, intricate story arcs, and melodrama. In1995, a version of Gargoyles as a computer game and a spin-off comic series were both brought into existence. During the years2006–2009, the plot of the show was continued in a comic book series with the same name. Written by Greg Weisman and published by Slave Labor Graphics, the series was titled "The X-Files."
