MasterChef New Zealand
Master chef New Zealand is a New Zealand reality television cooking series based on the British model of Masterchef. The first installment aired February 2010. The series includes Josh Emett judges Ray McVinnie and Simon Gault.
The show resembles the format of Master chef Australia where contestants compete in elimination struggles, for example team struggles. The distinction is that the New Zealand show simply has one incident per week in comparison to Australia's five week.
The first show was won by Brett McGregor, over Kelly Young, in the grand finale that was screened on 28 April 2010. Nadia Lim won the show, beating runner-up J-Ax Hamilton at the finale. Chelsea cold temperatures, who overcome runner up Ana Schwarz at the finale won the show.
