Shipping Wars
Shipping Wars can be possible television series on A&E that began airing on January 10, 2012. The series follows six separate carriers who have discovered that fortunes can be manufactured transporting items which carriers cannot or will not haul. The series also includes the entire world's largest online auction house to truckers, uShip. For Season 1, the carriers include Marc Springer, Roy Garber, Jennifer Brennan, Jarrett Joyce, and Suzanne and Scott Bawcom. Starting with Season two, the Bawcoms are replaced with the Group of Christopher Hanna and Robbie Welsh. Season 3 started on December 12, 2012. Also the Group of Courtney Aguilera and Chelsea Grant and new shippers Johnny Chavez look in Season 4.
In an average episode, bids are placed by the carriers two tasks recorded on uShip, in a reverse auction format. Each client has the option of awarding the job to the bidderto a higher bidder based on feedback from clients. Ties are broken in favor of the company with all the higher average feedback score. Their cargo is loaded by winners and attempt to deliver it complete by the customer's deadline. As the loads are delivered, feedback ratings from clients are displayed. With the expenses subtracted from the bid level to ascertain the profit or loss, each carrier's net profit or loss can be, at the end of the incident. At times, a company will arrange to haul a couple of additional loads on the trip.
